Realtime
reporting is the instantaneous translation of shorthand entered
by the court reporter on an electronic stenotype machine connected
to a notebook computer. The resulting text can then be displayed
in realtime on monitors and an instant draft can be provided at
the end of proceedings.
Court Reporters
who provide Realtime are highly skilled members of their profession.
They have undergone rigorous additional training and testing and
have invested in sophisticated computer hardware and software
in order to provide this specialized service.
